I, Jennie (Wind) Reyes would like to serve as your next District III Representative. I will strive to be a voice for the members of District III (on and off reservation) through a leadership of Unity and Transparency.  Will work to protect our Rights of Sovereignty and uphold our Treaty Rights for the sustainability of our Anishinaabe way of life.

The Leech Lake Reservation has been my home for 65 years.  My husband Mark Reyes Sr. and I have raised 5 children and enjoyed being part of 34 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren lives.  My employer for almost 45 years has been the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe.

There are several important issues facing our membership such as housing, education, public safety and the drug epidemic, elders and youth services to name a few.  We need to pursue a unified Tribal Government that is encouraging in all areas of these challenges.
