The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Tribal Council has approved the 2023 Tax Rebate amount of $500.00 that will be distributed to all enrolled Leech Lake Band Members Rapid Paycards on December 7th, 2023. The recipient needs to be enrolled as of October 25th, 2023, and 18 years of age as of December 6th, 2023.
Those 18 years of age as of or after December 7th, 2023, will have their funds deposited into Minor’s Trust.
For those who are newly enrolled or have turned 18 since the 2022 Tax Rebate, a Rapid Pay card will be registered and mailed to you using the address Accounts Payable has on file. If you need to update your mailing address, please submit a completed W‐9 to the LLBO Accounting office.
If an LL Band member is incarcerated at the time of payment and cannot receive funds through Rapid Paycard, a check will be distributed to their location. This is the only exception. All else will be funded to the cards.
What if I lost or misplaced my card?
For those who have lost or misplaced their Rapid Paycard, please call Rapid Customer Service at 1‐888‐ 727‐4314 to report it lost/stolen and request a new card to be mailed to you.
Replacement cards may take 7‐10 business days to receive once requested. Please note that replacement cards will only be available by contacting Rapid Pay; no cards are available through LLBO offices.
ID Verification
To those with their Rapid Paycard, please be aware that ID Verification (SSN and a current issued ID, such as a Driver’s License or a Tribal ID) may be required from Rapid Pay if you have deposited third‐party funds to your Rapid Pay account.
If ID Verification is required, this may cause a delay in receiving funds to the Rapid Paycard. Please contact Rapid Pay Customer Service at 1‐888‐727‐4314 if you are unsure if this verification is required, and if so, submit the necessary documentation to Rapid Pay as instructed to verify your account to prevent any delays.
