Registration will open at 9:30AM, and the first 200 kids registered will receive a free fishing pole! From 10am until 2pm, young anglers will have the chance to showcase their fishing skills and compete for trophies and cash prizes in a variety of age groups. With the tournament area accessible through Denny’s Resort, participants and their families can enjoy a day on the ice, surrounded by the stunning beauty of Lake Winnibigoshish.
Free bait and ice holes for fishing will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own fishing equipment and bait if they own them. In addition to the main event, attendees can also win door prizes and enjoy a complimentary lunch on the ice, provided by the Leech Lake Tribal Council and Leech Lake Gaming.
