Urban Band Members: May Tribal ID Events Scheduled in Twin Cities, Duluth
CASS LAKE, MN- The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Tribal Enrollment Office has announced two upcoming Tribal ID printing events scheduled for mid-May.
The first of these events will take place at the Leech Lake Twin Cities Office (2438 27th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN) on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 and Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Staff will be onsite printing ID’s for band members from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day.
The second event will take place at the Duluth Area Office (AICHO/Gimaajii Building, 202 W 2nd Street, Duluth, MN) on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Hours of availability will be from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
In order for band members to receive a Tribal ID card at these events, they must provide one of the following:
- Minnesota Identification Card; or
- Valid Driver’s License; or
- Social Security Card; or
- Certified Birth Certificate
- For name changes, please bring documentation of proof
If it is your first Tribal ID, replacement for an expired ID or an address change (must provide old ID) there will be no charge. All other replacements will be $15, paid by cash or check. Once issued, Tribal IDs remain valid for four years.
All COVID-19 safety protocols will be strictly enforced at these events including: social distancing, mandatory mask usage and temperature screening.
