Absentee Voting for State/Federal Elections
CASS LAKE- The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Government Center will once again serve as an absentee voting location for state and federal elections this year. In order to utilize this polling site you must reside in one of the following precincts: Bena, Cass Lake, Federal Dam, Gould Township, Ottertail Peninsula Township, Pike Bay Township, Sucker Lakes, Wilkinson Township or Winnie Portage Lakes.
The absentee voting precinct will be open from 8:30AM – 4:30PM on all regular business days. The LLBO Government Center is located at 190 Sailstar Drive in Cass Lake, MN.
For the following dates, voters who live in the listed townships may vote early in the upcoming scheduled 2020 elections.
Presidential Nomination Primary- March 3, 2020
Absentee Voting: January 17, 2020 through March 2, 2020
State Primary- August 11, 2020
Absentee Voting: June 26, 2020 through August 10, 2020
General Election- November 3, 2020
Absentee Voting: September 18, 2020 thorough November 2, 2020
Voter Pre-Registration will be available on site through October 16, 2020 for the General Election.
