Bug O Nay Ge Shig Students and Other Area Schools Take Part in Super Bowl Festivities
At the invitation of MN Supreme Court Justice Anne McKeig, the Bug O Nay Ge Shig Drum and Dance Troupe will perform at the events leading up to the Super Bowl. They will perform on January 31st on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis. Judge McKeig grew up in Federal Dam just a few miles from the school’s current location.
The performances are part of a 10 day festival taking place on Nicollet Mall leading up to the Super Bowl on February 4th. Each night the event will start with a performance from a Native American dance troupe as a way to “drum down the sun”.
